“AI will help us by automating the routine tasks, so we can focus on what really matters: understanding users, creating experiences that engage them, and solving their most pressing problems.” – Jared Spool

The move to AI is critical, and for designers, it's a transformative shift that offers new opportunities to elevate the design process.

I'm currently deepening my understanding of AI through the IDxF "AI for Designers" course, which has expanded my knowledge of how AI can enhance areas of the design process such as user research, data analysis, initial 'proto-personsa', competitor reserach, ideation and more. This allows me to focus on more strategic design decisions and creative solutions, ultimately improving the efficiency and impact of my designs while staying user-centered.

However, it's essential to always keep the human—the end user—at the heart of the design process. Critical thinking and a deep understanding of user needs remain central, ensuring that AI is used as a tool to enhance, not replace, the human touch that makes design truly impactful.

I’d love to chat about how I can help you. Say hi over email.
